Leif E. Petersen is a Southern California-based fine-art street photographer, and the Minimalist Photography Awards' Night Photographer of the Year for 2019. His work was recently exhibited at the Silk Road Art Gallery in Tehran, Iran as part of the Minimalist Photography Awards' Best of Show Exhibit (Summer 2019). Some upcoming publications to feature his work include B&W Minimalism Magazine and the Minimalist Photography Awards' Annual Book.
His work has also been featured in Los Angeles Magazine, Apathy Magazine and televised on ABC 7 Eyewitness News. He enjoys exploring the formal aspects of urban scenes and the people that occupy that space.
